Auxiliary meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month Local 975 Auxiliary is a service organization with the objective to cooperate with, support & contribute to the accomplishments and betterment of our firefighters.
Firefighters' (Active & Retired) spouse, parents, children, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, etc are eligible to join the auxiliary.

The Annual Fishing Break, founded by Todd Purcell (11B), is an annual fishing tournament in Port Aransas which benefits the Austin Firefighters Fund.
This is the 15th year for the tournament and is a family friendly event - including BBQ dinner & live music on Friday &, trophies, prize money, raffle, fish dinner & live music on Saturday.
